christmas cards 2005
For the first time ever, I wanted to send out lots of cards. I had a poll on my journal asking who wanted cards and what sort of drawing they wanted on the front, with the result that I ended up sending out about 50 cards with six different designs. I only thought to scan them after I'd sent out most of them, so I'm missing two designs: a cross between Frodo and Elijah Wood's character in Sin City (don't ask), and Rudolph the reindeer for the more traditional types.
I did the ink drawings first, stuck them on the front of cards and photocopied up a couple of each. Then I coloured each one with coloured pencils. (And if you're wondering, no, I really didn't have time to be doing this!) Hover over the images for an explanation.
